Christopher Beverly is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience across a broad range of practice areas, including business law, construction disputes, federal copyright and complex civil litigation, contract disputes, healthcare matters, personal injury, and administrative litigation. Known for his strategic and results-driven approach to advocacy, Chris has successfully negotiated and secured favorable outcomes for his clients, achieving millions of dollars in judgments and settlements in complex disputes.

Chris has also played a pivotal role in groundbreaking copyright litigation. Most notably, he helped develop and coordinate a multi-plaintiff copyright infringement case representing nationally recognized comedians against major streaming platforms, advocating for the protection of their intellectual property rights in a multi-million-dollar lawsuit. In addition to his litigation practice, Chris regularly advises business owners, entrepreneurs, and construction industry professionals on transactional matters, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation. He also represents clients in dispute resolution through litigation, arbitration, and mediation, delivering practical and effective legal solutions tailored to each client’s business and personal objectives.

Chris earned his BS in Music Business from Middle Tennessee State University, and his JD from Belmont University College of Law where he focused on Entertainment and Mass Communication law. While his roots are based in North Carolina, Chris has spent nearly two decades in Nashville building relationships and investing in Nashville's ever-growing community.

Chris served as an Adjunct Professor of Pre-Law at Middle Tennessee State University for a decade, where he taught courses on the American legal system and mentored students pursuing legal careers. Beyond his legal and academic work, Chris is actively involved in Nashville’s civic and cultural community. He serves on the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Troubadour Advisory Council, supporting the Community Counts initiative, which strengthens connections between the music industry and the broader Nashville community. He also serves as President of the Belmont University College of Law Alumni Council, where he works to strengthen relationships between students and alumni and to foster a strong and engaged alumni network.
